Hel’s Hounds

Once upon a stormy night…

And so the fairy tale goes. A mother settles down with her son to tell a fantastical tale about the creation of hellhounds, or rather, Hel’s hounds.

Hel. You might have heard of her.

Daughter of Loki. A girl born with two distinct halves—one half a child and the other a corpse. A child taken from her family by Odin, the All-father, and sent to Helheim to reign over those souls not found worthy of Valhalla and Fólkvangr. An innocent worthy of love yet denied because of prophecy.

While some base their lives on destiny, others make their own. Love finds its way into the darkest of places and into the fiercest hearts.
